My friend is looking for a stainless steel timing cover for his 318. I did a google search but couldn't find anything besides stainless bolt kits. I figured if anyone knew if it even exists you guys will. Thanks

  2. Probably doesn't exist, get him a chrome one and dull it with some steel wool or a scotch brite pad and it'll resemble stainless.

  3. Not Likely, Stock covers are either cast iron or aluminum, have seen chromed aluminum covers.

Good enough thanks guys. I think he wants one for his boat but I think he needs to get an aluminum one and give it a heavy paintjob.
