Technical SS braided hose covering ?

    See! It's flat, put on some lugs and use it for ground straps. Not for the battery but for body to frame and engine to body..etc:p

  4. You do know that the ground strap to the engine and body serve exactly the same purpose as the battery cable right?

    Yes, exposed webbing battery ground cables were tinned copper.
    Most all the manufacturers used exposed grounding straps. A few of my old Chevrolets had them from the valve cover screws to the firewall on the passenger side.
    My reason was to use it for something not covering a fuel line under a car and stainless will definitely carry current and work as a grounding strap. And no I wouldn't use it battery ground. We had it in power plants on rolls.

  7. I have a few pieces that I ended up with when buying a 3 port fuel block, needed the block but not that stuff. I do however have cars with real braided fuel line from rear to front though, much better than red plastic line.
