OK guys, we don't have a spring shop with in a 1000 miles of here. Any suggestions for shortning the front main leaf by 1" We do have Black Smiths that do horse shoes, was thinking they could heat each side and bending them a 1/2 " (Crazy) What do you think. Ice man

Maybe the blacksmith can reroll each end. That way you get a shorter spring and you can reverse the eyes too! I know the Amish build springs so the local folk should be able to do the same thing. Just an idea--

Thanks for the reply. I think the black smith is my only option down here. Its only paradise here if your on vacation. I'm the only Rodder on Island so the HAMB is my only sounding board. Ice man

Worse comes to it, let me know what size width and length you need and I can get it for you and ship it down there for you. Best thing would be to send me whatever bushings you wanted to put in the eyes and then go from there. The last main leaf I had made cost me $33 and had reversed eyes.

PM me if you need/want me to help you out.
