Here is a aerial shot of the HAMB village. It is where the YELLOW push pin is
Spring Meet is a LOT better than the fall meet.
I would say almost TWICE as large ...
Yeah, like a set of doors! That would suck.
BIG time!!! You're going to have them at the shop, right? JJ said so. I have a load for him . Later,Bill
Anybody have a commercial vendor spot? PM Me
I'll be there for sure, look forward to meeting a few of you guys and buying some parts
I'll never live that down... ever hahaha
Yeah, but you took all the s**t like a big boy. I am really impressed with your build; you've probably developed the skills to make leak-proof innersoles. I'll be in the usual place, stop and say hi. vic
Friend just told me he got rooms today at the Microtel Inn - Lake Norman Cornelius for $48.00 a nite.
I think I grabbed up a Plymouth "toilet seat" faux continental kit from one of the Hamb Village People in the fall...
Not certain how I missed the banner there
Here's a link to the IRON LORDS after party for those who are interested. Please come and enjoy!
I always try to make it down for at least 2 days.I only live 60 miles north of the speedway. Its better than waking up christmas morning when your 5 years old. Hitting all the swap parts checking to see if you can catch a deal,or find something ultra rare. I'll be there when the gates open and when they run us outta there. Good fun, even with my empty pockets
Lookin' forward to it! This will be the first time attending since 2001 so I can relate to J.Wike's Christmas morning analogy
Less than a week to get ready
With the big swap meet and the Iron Lords party on Saturday evening ...
it should be
a GREAT TIME for HAMBERS
Im packed and ready!! Weather looks like it going to be nice!
Randy, should be there sometime on Thursday morning down the row from you with Cliff and Johnny. I'll stop by and sit a spell.
Bill, need anything brought up from Florida this year?
I just got off of work release. I had no idea that Charlotte was this week. Time flies when doing time.
You better make this trip count. Becarefull of those strong swimmers.
Will be there Thur., Fri., and Sat. In the Red Field. Supposed to have beautiful weather. I am ready. First vacation of the year from the old grind. Man I need a break from this winter.
The plan is to drive through the night and be there early Thursday morning. I'll be with my buddy from the Spartanburg, SC area in the Orange Field spaces XXO-20 + 21, a bit down the row from Randy almost to the tunnel. Stop by and say howdy.
I just got home from a pretty average day in Charlotte...that is untill the Good Captain showed up from the Land of Oz. Great to meet you. Looks like you were having a great time.
I walked all around looking for the HAMB banner and didn't see it. I guess I should have checked here first...I just saw the map, but too late.
Hope to have my truck done in a couple months, so I'll be driving it there in the fall.
Today, i was in my non-hamb-friendly 68 Camaro. Nice weather all day, until the drive home. Rained the whole way.
What a great weekend...................and i got the sun burnt neck to prove that I didn't miss a booth in the whole place.
LIKEWISE on the burnt neck. Had a great time!
Ditto on the great time and red neck!
This is one of two "must do's" every year.
Had a good time ...
Got to see a LOT of old friends and got to meet and make some new friends.
LOTS of HAMBERS ... at the HAMB village over the swap meet .
The only DOWNER was I did not get to go to the Iron Lords party on Saturday night. THEY ALWAYS throw a killer party ...
but I had to be back home Saturday evening ...
Next year hopefully ... for the party.
Had great time a Charlotte sold some parts and bought some parts. Always good to have friend to watch your back. Thanks Mike and Bill for helping me find my room Thurday night. Boy I love doing shoots and drinking beer.
I still have to go through my pics, but did you see yall see the 30-31 Model A coupe that was complete but looked like they pulled it from a river bank? started at 6500 then 5500, then 4500, to when I saw the sign had like $2000 obo
Missed you , Deuce. Brett, you were out wandering, but people were shure having fun holding your balls......
