Hot Rods spray gun cross contamination

  1. It's cheaper to buy the purple gun, then to waste Acetone or Lacquer thinner cleaning the good gun.............plus waaaay less time spent.

  2. I am not a painter at all. However, I’m a poor fuck and can not afford to have Lloyd paint for me, so I attempt to paint. My last paint job was an O/T Harley and I used a Harbor purple gun. The one I had did leak, I bought it on sale 6 or 8 months ago and promptly lost the receipt. They graciously exchanged it and the replacement was fine. Here are the results. I used Rustoleum thinned with Acetone and Van Sickle brand tractor paint hardner.
