Technical Split wishbones

  1. ^^^ The ends are steel forgings. Most aftermarket places sell longer perch bolts; if you need the shock mounts you will have to cut them off your A perch bolts. All the aftermarket perches are 3/4" bore, if you are using A shackles, you will need to get new bushings, too.

  3. Just put a washer under the lock washer and Castle nut or steel self locking and go with those bones. the longer the better on split bones. JW

    I used longer perch pins and still had to narrow the top of the yoke and re-cut the countersink IMG_0234.JPG IMG_0257.JPG
