I had the pleasure of helping set this car up for the Sacramento Autorama. The owner is Tony Cuevas and the car was put together by some of the finest in the business, including Marcos and the team at Lucky7 and my friend Curt at Hill's Rod and Custom.
It has the original Flathead that came in it, fully hidden air ride, badass custom interior trim and mohair cloth. Really old-school badassery!
LeftCoastErik... Very cool...and Dick would approve of the current state of the car ! Super condition, and BTW Marcos at "Lucky 7" did the paint on John D'Agostino's latest "baby" Lincoln "Ruby"...it also was a winner at Sacramento ! "Spill The Wine" is a fantastic car !! Love it !!! I liked Johns car too, but I think the understated, very traditional setup of Cuevas' car is somehow more "right" The Ruggerio car was awesome as well. Really nice iron all around
That is now one of my top 2 favorite Mercs! Absolutely love how it's so stock looking, yet custom. Just Perfect. Tony
Yessir. Factory frame with custom bag treatment from Hills Rod & Custom. He made the tail lights from scratch also Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Left Coast Eric: Thanks for posting. I own the Ruggiero Merc and I was right across from Spill the Wine Merc and I really liked the style of this sled. Nice touches like the Lincoln wheel and overrider/exhaust set up etc. Your chopped chevy was one of my favorites from the suede palace. I will try to post some pics of my Merc when i have some time.
