I bought the 1978-88 GM Caliper to early Ford kit part# 7024475 from Speedway and I was wondering if someone might know the part number for the calipers that fit these that I might be able to pick up from a local parts store. I have been told you can get them there I'm just not sure which ones to get. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

78 was the last year of the "bigger" calipers. There is a significant size difference

^^^^^ That's the caliper. Metric Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, Cutlass from '78-'88. The last ones I bought were under $20 each at the local parts store.

The Camaro are what I've mostly heard referred to as "intermediate" calipers. Those have 7"-ish center-to-center mount bolt holes and the "Metric" calipers are about 5 1/2" if I recall correctly from my days of selling circle track racing parts.

If I remember right, again from circle track days, someone sells a metric size caliper with a larger piston.

The 1985 Monte Carlo Calipers were the right ones. Thanks everyone for your help!

The speedway catalog was a little too specfic with the year make and model. This info is much more useful
