Has anyone used the 4.5" chopped speedway '32 insert? Love to hear your comments on quality, fit, all that good stuff. Thanks in advance!

It worked for me, the quality of the steel parts and chrome is about as good as I have seen. The fiberglass shell needed some sanding. For the money, its good stuff.

I chopped my steel shell and the insert fitted very nicely, well made

It it worth the extra money to step up and buy one from dales? I'm chopping down my vintiques shell to match so the glass shell is not an issue.

We used one and although a couple of bars needed tweeking at the top (maybe shipping damage) it fit and looked fine. Once they are in place it is hard to tell them from a high dollar one, unless you get down real close and know the difference. I've got a Dan Fink one in my 27 and I think the Speedway one looks just as good once in place.
