I was going to use a flat motor in my car and researched out the Speedway kit
But were it my money I would contact the guys at Flat O Matic
That is what they do and they were very helpfull
    I ended up doing a Olds 303 with a converted TH350
    Good Luck

Thanks for the info Ray but I already have the Speedway kit. Looks like it all fits nicely but they dont give the starter info with it. You are left to guess at the application. My first guess was wrong. Prolly has something to do with Murphy!

I have that kit in my truck...It went in smooooth, but I bought the whole kit, and didn't have to guess with anything. Didn't you get the starter nose cone with the "parts kit"?

I think any small block ford v8 starter for a c-4 would work with the nose cone swapped. I think a buddy said it looked like a stock V8 fairmont starter/nose cone to him...

Got the nose cone but was having trouble finding the starter to mate up to it. Of course the local parts stores are manned by school kids that dont even know where a starter goes let alone dig up some possibilities. Thanks for the reply.
