im working on a ot ...the spark is jumping from the plug wire boot to the spark plug body..ive checked to make sure the plug wire is on the plug all the way and it clicks when pushed on..ive cleaned the surface of the plug and the area where the wire connects to the plug....what gives?

  2. Pull the plug and check for cracked insulator (magnifying glass will help if your eyes are worn out like mine)- it won't take much for the spark to jump through.

yeah i would ditch the plug, and if thats not the issue then your plug wire is probably bad where it connects to the metal plug clip..maybe replace that wire too
