I have a Spalding flame thrower. Was wondering how it will perform with two Mallory Magspark transformers instead of two regular coils. I dont want to damage anything wich is why I ask first.

Using ballast resistors, they will be fine. (same/same)

I was replacing the 3.5 H.P. electric motor on my compressor with a new 7 H.P. one from McMaster-Carr. A walk-in bystander said, "Hold it! You'll burn up that compressor by doubling its horsepower!"
At 240 VAC, and 1750 RPM. (both motors) I told him, "Watch out! I've GOT to turn it on, even if it blows!"
    Damned fool ran like hell.
