  5. Steering damper tucked behind axle almost (almost) unseen from front. SSD58 damper with end cut off at bend and a female rod end welded to end. Bracket on drag link is held on with clamps to allow for toe changes. Center the steering and damper then weld. So simple a Cave Man can do it! IM015044.JPG IM015045.JPG IM015047.JPG

Hey Bert what is happening with your Cuda

  9. It' coming along good. Little details, finish weld here and there. Paint little parts to make big parts. Trying to get brake lines and wiring in before putting the floor over it. Need to get a block and transmission back in to know how big to make the transmission cover. The bad weather here makes any outside body work impossible, so I just do the little things. I'll have some more pics this week.

  18. Thanks, we're doing the best we can. Hope to have the heads back from machine shop next week. Get all the piston/valve clearances checked and get engine/transmission in.

Robert I'm very impressed, I'm betting your going to be ready for our first race April 30th.

  26. Quain, I'm betting on it too. I'd really like to get the car to you before then to have you go over it. Still a ways off though.

  27. Yeah, they are getting some good entertainment out of this. As soon as Don gets my heads ready, I'll have to stop, finish them, put them on the engine and install. When the weather decides what it wants to do, I have a ton of body work to do.

Yeah once my fiberglass comes I've got a lot of body work too. That's why I like white.

I would like to find time to come and see you. We are doing some video of SEG builds to kick the season off. We are thinking it would be something different for the fans. It might be to where we could come up and video your's and then go video Zak's if y'all live close together. My big problem right now is time because I missing so much time from work trying to keep this deal going.
