Thanks! I will have to come check it out...I am a photographer and would love to get some shots of the local rides.....I need to get the chevy out but I really wish my shoebox was finished...
IIRC a swap meet in Union this weekend, opening a pick-a-part in Laurens around Mother's Day weekend pm me if interested, it's a scrap metal yard with a car yard. we have some neat stuff, got a '62 Pontiac HT and '56 Olds 88 last week, all came in as scrap......you would not believe the stuff coming out of barns, fields, old garages, etc., all for $7-$9 per hundred lbs.
the Iron Lords in Concord are having our annual Swap City Shindig/ Auto Fair after party april 9th at 606 Church st in Concord NC, 28025. come enjoy the Belmont Playboys, BBQ and Bannana Puddin!!!
if the weather is nice and the new brakes are on then maybe, I need to fix the trunk latch and try to get some front windows in it, gas is going to be hell much less the noise. We will see though
In SC we don't put our rides up for the winter man, I try to drive my sedan every chance I get. Heres a link that will keep you updated on the cruise in's around here in the upstate. http://upstatecarshows.webs.com/
they have a little car show at the hardee's on wadehampton blvd. on sat. but i dont remember, what, saturday, check with hardee's they can tell you.......
I agree, my cars have been on the road all winter, even my 61 with no heat when it has been in the 20s. Drove to Charlotte this past Saturday in the 60 Chevy, in the pouring rain there and back.
