Hot Rods Source For 32 ford rear main leaf Only

Does any one have a source for a 32 Ford rear reverse eye main Leaf only ,
Or a spring shop that has the pattern so I can order one ,
I prefer not to take my car apart, I drive it Daily !!

 

Or a place that sells them already reversed?

 

Posies will sell you just a main leaf with a reversed eye.

 

Seems like Posies web site is down?

Just called Eaton they won't sell just a main leaf

 

Posies does not list one in new catalog, I cannot believe nobody makes a 32 main Leaf Spring

 

Posie makes the complete spring. I have never had them refuse to sell just a main leaf? Only costs a call to find out.

 

While back; I called them about a 31-1/2" reversed eye main leaf for a front spring, said they do not sell a main leaf as a separate part; only as replacement for one of their springs. I said "Oh that's right, I need a replacement main leaf for my 1001 Posies spring". Ordered and in a short time I received my "replacement" main leaf.

 

I did call today a few times No ,answer !!

 

Hope they don't read this

 

Before you get everything apart plan how you are going to get it back together. The standard spring spreader doesn't work with reversed eye springs unless you get a little creative.

Don't know if they have a pattern but St Louis Spring in St Louis Mo can build about anything you would want.

X2 on St. Louis spring. Also Deaver spring in CA.

 

I have a main leaf for a "32, you can reversed the eyelids the usual way, (draw picture on the floor, use big hammer and two pieces of 2x4's) put it back together one leaf at a time, works for me, probably have to shorten or leave out second leaf.

 

Was going to do mine this way but with a press if I couldn't find one already done.
