Indianrider, great 32, my favorite year of all for CHEVROLET. It had a lot of features that were not on the 31 or the 34. The landau phaeton being the top of the line to me. GREAT car.

 

I really like the Chevy grille insert in the Deuce grille shell.

And you'd better jump on the offer of those powdercoated steelies!

 

Two door sedan and the straight axle perfect .

"How bout a compromise" on them big-fat-tarz-in-the-rear!! Narrow the rear end and tuck the "fatties" in just a little! Like the classic drag cars in the 60's?!!
I love me some big-fat-tarz but.....those justa-stick'in-out-back-there look a little....uhhhh....funny(not ha ha funny...just funny-funny) ya know?!
At least they are not fat tarz and skinny-ass sidewallz!!!!

A little engine assembly...

 

Pulled everything apart to start painting. Rustoleum primer.

 

Paint is single stage majic black w/ hardner catalyst. Makes it almost a satin black.

 

Took a break and got my little helper to help put up new lights.

 

Traditional white on the wheels. Put the steering brackets and brakes on. Realized the brackets don’t clear the caliper bolts. . Have to bend and repaint those.... install sealed bulbs and turn signals. 3/4” led sealed units from rural king.

 

Building up the brakes. Definitely worth having a good flare tool. Saves time and makes great looking flares.

 

Too nice of day. Had to take a cruise and clean things up a little.

My awesome brother let me have his truck for a while for my birthday. Too cool!!!

 

Digging the stance

 

Trans lines and radiator hoses next. Then it’s time to get the body ready.

 

Everybody paints the canvas differently....and has opinions. They are all good and meaningful
My opin/suggestion is to hijack all the photos of HR's like yours and in real time and in the noggin cut and paste your likes and no likes.
You gotta like it your way.
