http://www.acmefluid.com.au/larry/oldshealey.html Very neat car site documenting a vintage swap into a Healey back in the day. Sorry, if this has already been covered.
Very good story, about a very talented man. Not your typical " traditional hotrod", but a true hotrod, reflective of the era. thank you.
That Is Actually Really Cool. I Had A 70 Mgb That I Wanted To Do Something Like That To... Small Block With A Custom Tube Frame. A Little More Of A "gasser" Style. (if That Is Even Possible On That Car) Pretty Cool Though And Not To Much Money Involved. Mg's Are Cheap!
I like his attitude with the purists. It's funny, I wonder if AC enthusiasts think Cobras are crappy wannabe's. The guy is obviously a Hot Rodder. The concourse guys probably just get pissed when his car gets all the attention.
Sorry Virgil, gotta' call bullshit. This ain't 'off topic' at all. WTF could be more on topic than this? Unless we've become an 'all early Ford - all the time' site. That guy's car flat fuckin' rules: demonstrable scientific fact. Okay... off the soapbox... thanks for sharing this one! -bill
