Found a 1941 Ford 1/2 ton pickup, with a 91 s10 frame and an 86 camaro drivetrain with the 305. Guy wants 24,000.....Walking away quietly.
A sorta-kinda-(relative)-guy I know has a 40 Ford pickup on a M*ts*b*sh* frame with 327 and ? trans.6 lugged wheels and misaligned body parts.Uhh,rough. "I got $40 grand in it,couldn't let it go down the road for less than that." It's amazing it goes down the road? There are stockers in awesome shape for less than $10K.I'm looking at a sweetheart in an A*to Trad*r magazine right now...Build it how you want it?
Should be able to buy something like that for about half the price, ready to go in need of nothing. As for the one on the jap frame... $40,000 in it? Does he figure his labor at $500 per hour in that price?
