the driver is broke down (96 Trooper) so I had to take the Olds to school.
The wipers worked ( I even had to throttle them back a bit ) the heater was nice and warm, and another person asked me what year it was,( they thought it was a Chevy).
Hey, It was a good day.

Very cool you need to do it more often....I used to drive as a Courier 15 years ago and every now and then I drove my 40 chrysler for work. I would do over 200 miles in a day and never had a problem. Some of the people I was delivering to thought I was nuts But I could drive that car all day and it wouldnt get old. I would do it when I was getting bored with work it always made the day go by fast and fun.

  10. Nothing wrong with vacuum wipers I drive my '56 all the time with them. Thats how they got around back then. Try using some rain-X as well that works!

    Ah, good ol vacuum wipers...
Remember when passing someone in the rain you had to let off the gas momentarily to get a "wipe or two" on the windshield to see where you were going??
    Those were the days.....
