Okay so I was kidding. So what? Just thought I would throw out a couple of images of my pickup with the new Wheel Vintiques smoothies in white and my DiamondBack radials installed. All of this, just in time for York... Both vendors were awesome to deal with. This setup is really bright and gets your attention, that is for sure... I like it because it is a bit different but still looks clean! Enjoy!

Wow, that's a really clean and cool truck. Nice choice on those wheels something different with something that may be a bit more common like the flat black paint. All in all man, I would say that it fucking RAD!!!!

Thanks guys for the comments. I am so stoked to hopefully get this darn truck to York FINALLY!
I was nervous about going all white at first but I am 100% satisfied with my choice. Nice to be a bit different than the norm.

Very cool... thats a good lookin' truck my friend.

  11. ...bitchin'! I really dig the contrast with the white, chrome, and flat black. I've debated about repainting my steelies white, but the paint on the Biscayne is subtle enough (GM Black Sapphire -goes from black in shadow to dark met. blue in sunlight) that I'd think people would miss the paint and stare at the wheels. Great choice on your truck!

I love white wheels with wide whites. Your truck rules.

    Hey guys, thanks again.

Dave - I run the Va. standard tags because my truck is a 53 and NSRA will only let pre-49 vehicles in. So I simply say my truck is 48 and then drive it on in....shhh. don't tell!

Brett, I am in Mechanicsville, just outside of Richmond.

I love the choice, it is nice to see many of you agree. Thanks

Ahhh, the vision of what my 53 should look like. :) Very cool man! Love it!

I'll look you up the next time i'm in the area.

Are you going to NSRA Richmond, at the fairgrounds, I think. August 22-23.

Love the wheels and the truck! I may ask for permission to use the same treatment on my '46. If that's ok......?

Wow, you guys are making me blush! haha
    Thanks

I must say Wheel Vintiques got these wheels done in a nice timely manner for me and DB tires was great as usual.

To answer a question earlier, I have a really simple setup, 15x7 all the way around with 205/65/15 in the front and 235/60/15 in the rear. The truck rides and drives AWESOME! hope that helps

Brett - I actually work for Media General, the company that owns the RT-D so I know who Bob Lipper is but have never formally met him. Small world!

When I was a kid, whitewalls on white wheels were referred to as "tennis shoes". The beauty rings make it work for you. Nice truck!

Wheels and tires look great. The white ties in with your white pinstriping, put a blue stripe on the wheels and it would really pop!

  28. Looks great! Huge improvement over the billets you had before.
