needs a few things to get going...... But hey its better than when i got it i guess. progress is slow since I will be in school until I graduate in May -Bigdaddy
Dang, yer on yer way! The fact that anyone going through school can keep a project going like that stokes me (and I'm about to find out if I can, too). Nice work! Where're you graduating from?
well graduating from Vanguard University in california, as far as the car 29 model a sedan chopped channeled, 58 ford wagon roof, chrome reverse, 350 and a powerglide, has small cam and head work,im going for a 60;s style custom, plans are to get a 4 2 intake have the front end chromed, dual quad healights and wicked metal flake job, mohair interior and bucket seats, will be a long project but well worth it, I might keep this one for more than sixth months, as i sell most of my cars after that, but i really want to do it and drive it. To keep a project in school just remember car money is car money, and you can pay school loans later :} -Bigdaddy
If anyone can help me find some pictures of some exhaust from the 60's on sedans that would be great -Bigdaddy
Lookin' good Bigdaddy! That front shot definitely shows that it's got ATTITUDE! Love it! Thanks for the look! Regards, Dave.
looking real sweet bigdaddy! i have a real soft spot for sedans, always have, always will. my 28 dodge coupe had the back cut off when it was a farm car, so we are going to stretch it into a sedan. the chop is done, and the back top of the roof has been cut, so now all i have to do is start filling it in. i hope mine looks 50% as good as yours! trey
KEWL!! i'm kinda diggin how the rear of the frame rails drops down on such an angle and are exposed. ya don't see that every day.
ya the frame rails sticking out the back, im going to do a 60's style bumper i think some tubes maybe -Bigdaddy
[ QUOTE ] get me some pics of that ?? not exactly sure what you are talking about ?? [/ QUOTE ] A quick sketch: Kinda goofy, but you get the point. Mold in a rear pan opening and then shoot the tailpipes out the rear pan. Look at Dave Stuckey's pre-Li'l Coffin for inspiration. That's one of my favorite sedans of all time.
Any links to pics of that sedan? (Don) I tried Google but did not find anything. Thanks. Great job bigdaddy! later, papa al PS are you using '29 rails? thx
yes I am using a model a chasis, been boxed and all, the whole nine, I like that opening, not a body man maybe one of my buddies can help out -Bigdaddy
son of a bitch. you gotta live way the frick out in Kahlifonia don't ya. i'd LOVE to do that rear end treatment on it for ya. damn i love building shit like that.
