Finally got some quality time with the coupe last week and weekend. Got the pedal setup done and most of the floor tacked together. The gas pedal is a bit to tall yet and i might have to bend the clutch pedal a bit more to the side depending on what i am going to put on them. But otherwise i think it turned out all right. The floor is mostly in there now. All i got to do is a bit more welding. Behind the seat i was thinking about having the battery on one side and all the electrical on the other. Copped the grill shell 4" and mounted the radiater. The shell was wasn´t that hard to chop as i thought it would be. Not sure about the air cleaner in the pic but if a three carb setup dosn´t fall out of the sky i will have to run it. Its going to be alot of work to get it on the road before summer but i am pretty sure i will make it. The frame is all done, just got to paint it and alot of parts are away at the painter/chromer.
looking great...what was that coupe a school bus???haha,no man looks bitchin..good luck........rooster
Thanks. Heres a pic before i sent the wheels and front end away for paint. Still not sure if i am going to chop it.
Wow, I love the three pedal Model T style setup. Put pads on there with "R" "B" "C" and you're lookin' crazy!!
Looking good!!!! Leave the roof stock. Be different that way (seems like almost everyone is channel/chopped), and a whole lot more usefull. Have had two chopped A's, cool to look at, trips are a pain. Earl
Det ser finfint ut! Gillar pedalstället! Do not chop it! Let it be! I hope this one will show up in Wheels or Gazoline magazine this summer. /Eric
Thanks. Its a three speed out of a impala and the stick is a daytona. The pedals wouldn´t be that hard to do again now i have already worked them out. Even got drawings for them.
