Had a great time hanging out with buds and even took the company car down the track a few times. The Hotrod gods smiled on us and kept the rain away. Here are some pics.

great pictures...I really need to make this next year....looks like its really growing in attendance

 

That all I got. I spent more time visiting and racing instead of taking pics. Maybe somebody else that was there will jump in here and add some more. It looked like the threat of rain might have kept some away but they missed a good meet.

 

Thanks for coming out and supporting this event ! Glad you had a good time racing with good friends . I still cant get over that 40 coupe . Original 90 plus year young owner since 55 . And to see him and Charley really race ,,, W O W ! ! !

Yeah that was the highlight of the event.

 

I guess I left too early to see ol' Jez go down the track. I'd like to have seen that. The car is a piece of Texas history - as is the owner, of course - and was right at home at Yello Belly! Thanks again, Rusty, for a fun meet well run!

 

Somebody needs to do a Feature on that '40! It's Beautiful..............

I thought so-cal was supposed to be the hot rod capital or something? I think it may have up and moved to Texas.

You guys always seem to be having a hell of a lot of fun. Shit, maybe I should move to Texas.

 

I was to busy watching the racing and looking at cars to take many pictures, but hear are the 3 I have

 

I need to get the Funny Car done and get down there for this.I'd be cool to take it back to one of the tracks it raced at.

You don't see to many cross rams, but here we had a pair parked alongside each other...

 

A walk around the parking lots and show car area revealed quite a few good looking rods. A shame that more of them did not see fit to make a pass on the strip, if for no other reason than the photo op....
