I have been binge watching MFS and other good hot rod stuff on Amazon Prime. Watched Von Franco and the "Car That Ate My Brain" last night. Lots of good, old, cheesy B movies about hot rods like "The Choppers, featuring Tommy Ivo's T. A couple of shows documenting Norm Grabowski's cars.

It makes me wanna build another T.

Look for 'Drag Strip Girl', really cool street drags, Ivo's T was the lead car, much footage.

The funny thing was the moral of most of these movies is, hot rods lead to a life of crime and premature death.

Yep; almost as much as murder-cycles do.

Sex, hoodlums, crime, Hollywood had to put something in there besides cars to draw crowds and get their money back!

There was a ton and they seem to be adding more and more lately. I do wish, however, that it was a little easier to find hot rod stuff on there. Once I found MFS I got a lot of suggestions for other good stuff but I bet there's more I'm not seeing yet.

I'm real good with eBay, I guess I should ask someone what Amazon is about, how do I make a buck on it? Bob

Most of which not available north of the border :(
Or at least they weren't when I checked last year. I'd love to watch The Car that Ate My Brain.

  12. Still not without paying extra (rent or purchase)for it. Nothing new with any of these companies.

    $12.99 a month?
No thanks. I don't buy anything on Amazon so there is zero advantage for me.

  14. "Three Mile" and "This is Long Beach" from @Zombie Hot Rod are both on Amazon Prime.

We pay $99 year and we buy a ton of stuff, so it pays for itself in a a couple of months with free shipping. Very seldom do we even go out for Christmas shopping...

I'm with "Roothawg" on this. I spend my winters in the Florida Keys and the prices down here are unreal since "Irma" blew through. If it weren't for Amazon (and especially their "Prime" shipping), I don't know if I could afford to live here any more. For example, I went to Walgreen's to buy a Magic Marker, and a plain ole' "Marks-a-Lot" $4.95. The "brick and mortar" stores, down her at least, are "pissing in their own lunch pail".

I’m sure it does make sense for many people.
I work with a few younger folks who talk about ways to watch shows, stream music etc.
They don’t use cable or subscribe to a newspaper like I do.

Just loaded Ghost of Drag Strip Hollow on Amazon Prime. Has Tommy Ivo in it along with his dragster. A lot of good footage and cars.
