This guy is down to 5850 now, It is a 63 tho, so not sure if its the same one you called about?
Hes headed the rite direction with the price, Down:D
Is a "title in hand" deal tho, in other words hasnt been transferred into this guys name yet,(In my understanding of what that means) and may need to be inspected by sherriff before it can be transferred to a different state with it having a California title, dont know if its condition would hinder that process??? If I were interested I would just make sure it was put in my name before I turned loose of any money. He might include delivery for 5k? maybe less, maybe not? Looks like he has a enclosed trailor of some kind there, if he hasnt already sold it too.

Mistake number 1...........Never, ever, tell guy selling the car how much you have to spend!
Mistake number 2...........Never, ever, ask your friends to help you spend your money!

    See what you started?

    Just saying.............

That Colony Park looks decent, too bad it's so far away, doesn't run, and has no title.

With project prices like this you may have to settle for a nice later corvette, instead of a old station wagon project.:D
Im not a corvette guy but It sure sounds ironic, I bet it really does to the older guys:D

Crazy prices for these things, especially to a guy who only bought them if they had a 390ci engine or larger, and then only for the engines. I know where a 68 Chevy is, and it needs a motor at least, but for these kind of prices it may wind up in my garage.

A few years ago I bought my wife a C4 Vette for less than what a 66 Mustang was bringing. Sold it and bought a two year newer C4, same thing, still cheaper than the Mustang she wanted. C4’s are cheap still.

title in hand mean's exactly what it say's he has the title not the bank, has nothing to do with whose name is on it. i would like to live in your world where titles are transfered to buyer's name before money changes hands.

I'm having a tough time understanding why so many people don't seem to understand what a budget, stated by Bruce, of $4000 tops means!

That is exactly what it means around here, that it hasn’t been transferred, lt could mean different things in different places, that’s why I said it the way I did, also money can change hands at the dmv while it’s being transferred, if I must explain in detail.
