Here is a rare early Stewart-Warner 8,000 RPM tachometer. The date code on it is no longer legible, but these were brought out by Stewart-Warner immediately after the late 1940's/early 1950's Wings versions. In fact, this is the exact same tach as the Wings one, the only difference being the logo. It features the iconic curved glass, side light windows, Coke Bottle pointer & Big & Little numbers. I did have the bezel off this one for cleaning & replacement of the curved glass. The old one had a scratch. The result is a very presentable original unit, with nicely balanced patina. Nothing has been retouched. The original face & needle are still very bright, crisp & blemish free. Included are the original mounting brackets. One of them has an integral light socket holder, which I've never seen before. It works great. Originals that look & work as good as this one come along very seldom. Priced very reasonably at $260. The price is plus shipping....$13 to the lower 48. PayPal would be best, but a Postal Money Order would work, as well. The first P.M. committing to buy gets it.
