It is polished brass and finished (not a raw casting and there are no rough casting areas). A newer piece of safety glass has been installed. All it needs is a bit of hand polishing to bring it back to A-1 condition or leave the light tarnish and enjoy as-is. The mounting bracket has a round hole which could be easily modified for your specific application. The glass is about 14 1\2 " diameter, the overall height from the top of the glass to the bottom of the mounting bracket is about 21 1\2" tall and the mounting bracket has a 2" ID mounting hole.
