    City: Alvarado

    State: TEXAS!
    Price: SOLD
Taken out of a running/driving street rod, ready to drop into your hot rod and go! Has all the stuff that you don't need removed and a bottom floor-mounting flange welded on. The factory wiring and connector is intact for easy connection to a wiring kit. Even has a connector shaft to hook up to a Vega steering box. The turn signals have been recently serviced and operate properly as does the gear indicator...even the internal lights work!

The column outer case is 29 1/2" long, the bottom stub has been shortened to 5/8" and drilled to mate with the Borgeson joint on the connector shaft with a pin or bolt. This connection has minor play. The connector shaft is 17 1/4" overall with a 5/8" splined Borgeson joint on the steering box end. The shaft and 2 Borgeson u-joints are worth $180 alone.

The upper end of this TILT column is all stock except for the shortened shift lever. The tilt mechanism is tight and operates properly. The steering column case diameter is 2" with a wiring guard running along the bottom - column drops are available to accommodate this. The shift arm at the bottom has been removed and welded back on - 2 1/2" long from internal shaft to the hole. Everything works smoothly, the lower bearing has very minor play from normal wear - available on the internet if you really want to make it perfect.

NOT a cheap Chinese re-pop but a GENUINE GM steering column that's ready to drop into your hot rod. All the parts shown in the photo are included. Price does not include shipping. PM any questions. Thanks! Steering 1.jpg Steering 2.jpg Steering 3.jpg Steering 4.jpg Steering 5.jpg Steering 6.jpg

Not aftermarket junk but a nice, tight OEM column that's already prepared and ready to drop into a hot rod. Ready to go!

Still available! Looks a lot better in a hot rod than the big clunky aftermarket ones. Still available!
