This fantastic running and driving 59 Kingswood is a factory 348 car, but unfortunately the 348 had cracked internals, so we modernized it with a 5.3L engine and automatic transmission from a 2004 Chevy Silverado. I personally picked the truck out, it was a gently side swiped truck in excellent condition with 120,XXX miles on it. The 5.3L performs amazing; I would drive this wagon anywhere. We ran an external MSD fuel pump. - Gas pedal is “drive by wire.” - New brake booster, master cylinder, and proportioning valve. - LS3 exhaust manifolds - Rebuilt injectors - Fresh exhaust - “Used” set of chrome reverse wheels with new tires TheThe front and middle seat frames were acid dipped, then shot in epoxy before being reupholstered in Impala triple tone fabric. The rear facing seat is still in original upholstery. - Awesome CARTER CarPac 8ft luggage rack - Suitcase stereo included ***** The mudflap is not included in the sale as it has great sentimental value****** I will discount the selling price by $1000 if you do not want the CARTER luggage rack. I have been all over the Pacific Northwest the past 2 years with it, and never had a single issue with the wagon’s performance mechanically. The patina of the original paint in amazing, and I hope the car never gets painted, but the wagon definitely has rust...but it is structurally very sound. The frame & body mounts a great, but the bellys of the floor pans are thin and have holes. The rear window sat down for years so the back area of the wagon also has rust in the rain gutter, rear facing seat floor section, bottom of the tailgate, and where the tailgate meets the body. Like I mentioned I have driven the car for 2 years, it is very sound, but I had planned to replace the rusty areas in time, but I was just having too much fun driving it " as is."
