This is a 39-42 Merc flathead engine that's missing the fan and distributor . I bought it at a swap meet e few years ago and its been stored indoors all along. It has a rebuilder tag riveted on that says the bore is standard and rods and mains are .010 under. It turns smoothly but haven't tried to start it and don't know when it was rebuilt. Both heads are off for inspection and no cracks are visable . I also have a Ford flathead shortblock which is only good for parts I will include, and 2 new water pumps still in the boxes. This engine may run ok as is but I am selling it as a rebuilder . Local pickup preferred and I can deliver or meet part way. Any questions just ask! - Kevin
