Sold! Sold! Sold! Stalled hot rod project now up for sale. Original frame. Setup for SBC V8 and automatic transmission (included). Ford nine inch rear axle. Typical hot rod steering and suspension modifications. Lots of era correct original parts, lots of new good quality aftermarket parts. Lots of work already done. Needs lots to finish but is a good starting point. Should work with all Model A Fords bodies (excluding large, heavy duty trucks) 1928-1931. CHASSIS: Original Model A frame. Frame was previously sand-blasted and is in nice shape. Frame checked out straight. Included are brand new boxing plates still in the box. There is a piece of angle iron tack welded across the top rear of the frame. This was done just to help hold the frame square during the build. Frame has a thin film of surface rust developing on it. This chassis was stored outside under a tarp for the last few years. During that time some moisture got in. The surface rust brushes off easily with a wire brush. DRIVETRAIN: Set up for small block Chevy. Currently has a 305 V8 and TH350 automatic transmission. Both were removed from a running, driving car that was damaged in an accident. Both have been stored indoors. Both should be useable with some gaskets and some parts (fuel pump, distributor, etc.) that were transferred to another engine. Brand new aluminum radiator still in box also included. Ford 9" rear axle from a 1971 F100 truck. Axle was complete but had been apart prior to me buying it. I installed one new wheel bearing. I would be tempted to finish putting it back together and try it. WHEELS AND TIRES: Original 15" 1950's Ford truck wheels. Tires are some rollers from the scrap tire pile but they hold air. FRONT END: Original Model A dropped axle. Ford F1 truck front spindles and drum brakes. New drums, hardware, shoes, wheel cylinders, etc. New kingpins. F1 truck steering box, column and steering wheel. Dropped steering arms and Superbell steering hoop. New transverse front spring and mounts. Original split Model A wishbones with welded in adjustable bungs and bolt-on frame mounts (currently just bolted through a pre-existing hole in the frame for moly mock-up purposes.) Have another original unsplit Model A wishbone that will go with the project. REAR SUSPENSION: Original Model A transverse leaf spring with a few leaves removed (still have removed springs to be included with sale.) Pete and Jake's transverse leaf spring mounts. Pete and Jake's rear crossmember and rear ladder bars. Nearly $3000 invested not counting time and mileage to track down parts and chassis assembly to this point.
