Spooky, I can't agree more. Galaxies are a real nice looking car, with a ton of style, and I am pretty sure, a 427 Ford, will hurt a 409 Chevy's feelings,
I destroyed a 62 SS with a 409, in a non sanchioned contest, but a Cammer was a bit of an advantage!
He didn;t ask, so why offer info?

True but I think the point was that it looks like it'd be pretty straightforward to duplicate it on a kit chassis.

Obviously you'd want to pick one of a decent mechanical spec, picking some pseudo-Cobra with a stick rear axle hardly makes sense.

That is a great video, and story. I had to watch it a few times. I sure do like that stock flat hood, and it is making me reconsider the intake for the Cammer. I like that car!

Eric;he was running that 65 through an exhaust system that sounded WICKED!!! I forget the name of that track,it was out in the boonies in PA,1/8th mile with a short shut down with a stream at the end!!! I was supposed to run my car but could not find anyone to trailer it out for me,OH WELL!! ROY.

 

Where did Tobacco King go after the Reynolds heirs sold it ? Is it in a collection on display somewhere ?
I'd love to plan a trip to see it someday.
