    Count me in.

Went for my first drive today. I would've went to your house Eric but just doing this video I used up 5 Gallons of fuel.

Eric I cant wait for you to get your Galaxie finished.

  2. I'm primarily a Chevy guy, but I like the rest, too. I absolutely love your Merc! The color, wheels/tires, stance, and especially the engine.

That car is one of my favorites on this site. When I watched the video, I had no sound. I need to troubleshoot the reason because I'm dying to hear it.

Ken I like the ring tone idea, pretty cool.

Now that you have finished 2 Comets, one with a Cammer, and my shit is still on my rotissere, I am feeling the pressure. I need to call Earl, and light a fire under his ass!

Hope some good progress is near, as I finished up a Bronco that was hogging up some shop space!

Flat, get that sound fixed, and enjoy!

  6. I got the sound fixed, and it sounds AWESOME! Man, is that car beautiful.

If I were to build the perfect Cammer Gasser, that is the exact one I would build. Great job!

All I know is I wouldnt have any cool cars if I had a Girlfriend like that. I'm sure she would have the nice car and I would be walking to work.

Roy Congrats on the Photo shoot.

Thrush 544 Thats a damn cool Galaxie there, any pics. Did we cross paths out in PA. last year?

  13. Even a die-hard Mopar guy like me can love a Cammer. No other sound like it,especially on nitro. I always thought that early Hemis(with a 6-71 and M/T rocker covers) were just about the coolest looking engines around. The SOHC is right up there in the visuals department.

Good luck with a very fine car!

    Wow

Theres no way I could handle 2 fine chassis like that. A guy is going to need some backup. We could share. The Galaxies are bitchin also.

It's an original-paint 406-6V XL, so I'm being a little more careful with it these days. Currently has a 427-8V, C6 w/4000 converter, and 5.14's with a spool- jumps pretty good, especially around strokes in Chebbies :p
Trying to get back to work on my Falcooon for some serious fun

Thanks for the kind words guys, I've owned her for over 15 years now. My daughter and son (14 and 10 at the time) helped me rebuild the original 390 in her about 12 years ago. She's survived a divorce, single parenthood, 3 kids going through college.

Ken, about the only time I had her out last year is Flashback Friday at Beaver Springs PA. I drove her 3 hours there, raced all weekend and drove her home again. Unfortunately I had a rear axel seal that was leaking and causing a very unpredictable sticky brake. (not to mention a rookie who's a little slow on the tree) Plus she has 3:00 gears in the rear! All three of those lead to some unpredictable times and only one round win.
She's actually my cruiser as I'm building a 64 Custom 500 2drsd to race hopefully this summer. Unfortunately I was laid off last October so that has become a slow moving process. God willing I'll have her ready for Beaver Springs' Nostalgia Nationals in July.

I'll try to post some pics of her here soon.

Some great stuff here guys, thanks, I am sorry I sold my 66 Galaxie convert to my nephew in New Zealand and the car was written off by a drunk driver, I'd like another one again.

I have NEVER understood why the '63-'65 Impala's gained a foot hold over the Galaxies.

Such a better looking car hands down.
