SoCal summer events.... need suggestions

Work brought me to SoCal Costa Mesa area for the next 4 months. I am looking for suggestions on what to do and see while I am here. Ive done the Peterson,NHRA and Mooneyes. Any suggestion for local cruise nights or upcoming events. Thanks

also the chino, Ca corn feed run car show will be August 25 from 8am to 3pm
Also, while not car related the L.A. County fair will be on the month of September in Pomona,CA where the Wally Parks museum is located.

They also have a demo derby at the OC fair near the end of July I think.
