  1. Someone no doubt has already posted this but 18736542 fits a chevy with the 4/7 swap or an Olds rocket.

    1939 Allis Chalmers Model B. 1-2-4-3 with No. 1 at front of engine. If mag is installed 180* out it's same firing order but now No. 1 is at the rear of engine.

    Damn P&B beat me to it on the 4/7 swap. Ended up with a mystery motor once that had the swap. I knew about 4/7 swaps but you don't really expect to come across one at random like that. Needless to say, it took more than 2 beers to figure out what was going on.

    As a side note, number the cylinders on a Ford like a V-8 Chevy and see what the firing order turns out to be. Or for you Ford guys, number the cylinders on a Chevy like a Ford and see what happens.

  7. I know what would happen at my house. The wife would let me cuss for awhile and then say you probably switched the 5 and 7 like you always do. That wouldn't work of course but I know what she would say. :D
