This is the car my Dad was driving the year I was born, my Girlfriend just lettered it yesterday for a few laps at Lawton Ok. She had to mimic the "imperfect country boy with a brush and a beer look", just like it was all those years ago. Yes, those are Bucrons on the right side. Ol 26
Working on the rooster tail idea, trust me!!!!!! 230 ci 6 banger taken out to 245 with a serious cam, and it starts like it's should. Now, if I can get it to stay running.........
I was going to commett on the car having a little push but then I noticed the RF appears to be flat..The restoration looks perfect. The way a vintage racer should look..Post more when you have time... Bobby..
It's priceless to have that car. Keep it. The pictures too. I drove oval dirt '57-'59, sure would be neat to have pictures, couldn't afford a camera...................
Wow, real unusual to find one that survived, let alone one with a personal connection. You're one lucky dude but that car is also lucky to have you as a caretaker. Keep us posted!
So my next questions are when you get the coupe finished are you going to start restoring the super that is in the background of your avitar?? and the other question is on the passanger side door of the coupe is that a henged opening to enter yjrough the door or a patch panel?? I will say again The car looks good.. Bobby
