  2. Wow, Lots of cool badass mills takin' up space on this thread. A lot more powerfull than what I can throw down but I love my Olds motor and will love the new one that I'm building as well. Most of you have seen these pics before but what the hell, I'm bored.

Wow, there are an awful lot of people who do not understand what the HAMB is about. A tank engine in a Mustang? WTF, and that's just one of many.

No tank motor's, no BMW's. The motor must fit the criteria of this web site. Period. Take the O.T. motor/combo to the Dog Fight site.

  14. Why don't you go tell a moderator on them instead of raising your post count by
whining....or just stop looking at the thread?
How many of your 16k post are just negative comments? You need to stop posting and let the mods do their job...

  15. Well, Here ya go F&J. It's only in the mock up stage right now. Finishing up the chop on the car now. Will be getting to the motor in the near future. May change the motor color. Not sure yet. 371 Olds with modified matching J-2 carbs and intake. Muncie 4 speed, Rodsville quickie.

So zman was it the engine that was OT, or just the body it was sitting in? If were in a steel ''34 with pie crusts or maybe the Mooneyes streamliner would it be "traditional" enough for ya? [IMG]

I'll repost when I get through putting it in my '34 if that's alright with you

How about a 510 big block Chevy? I'm positive there is better but lets do some math.

Start out with a bone stock 1975 454 block. Add a 4.3750 balanced and forged crank, CAT 4 bolt main caps, the best H beam rods money could buy. Then add a set of Keith Black flat top Icon pistons and some Patriot aluminum heads.

And then the full roller valve train.....

    And the stud girdles.

Have you kept up with your math so far? And yes, we're running it on pump gas, through a full exhaust. It should hit 600HP easy on it's own. Then add a supercharger that is worth 25 HP per pound of boost and is capable of 38 pound of boost. Add it up.

I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.
