So. Texas Reliability Run "BARONS"

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by SandMan, Aug 17, 2006.

  1. Hill Country 100 Reliability Run, who's going on the run and who is going to the car show? October 14th, Kerrville Texas is the location and the course follows the Guadalupe River and around the Hill Country. The rally is limited to 10 cars and is just about full. The run ends at a river park where the car show is being held.

    Let's hear it.

    why just 10 cars?

  3. I wanted to keep it small and personal. Depending on how this years run turns out we could up the number for next years event.

Im kinda busy that weekend, otherwise I would be there. Just kidding! It would be great to see some folks out there. Looks like one of my favorite folks Sean Castillo will be playing too. Sean actually played a show for us in '99 or so, it's about time to do it again.

  7. If I'm not in Japan, I will be there, FO SHO! I DARE the Austin crowd to come down to Kerrville!:D

Do I have to park my '65, 5 door down the street? :D

  9. Consciences say to open the run to more cars, so be it. The Reliability Run is now open to all.
Run starts at 9am and the show opens at 10am. For those not in the run and those who are in we are also doing a valve cover race, no entry fee to play in this race. Track dimentions will be sent out with entry form for the main event.
For more info or an entry form email me at [email protected]

Is Houston part of South Texas...? I see lots of mentions of SA, Austin, and DFW, but no Houston.

I have a hot rod car and stuff....

  11. Blake is your truck going to be ready for the event? If not what are you going to drive up in?

Hey Buzzard, you know those new tires you got? we are gonna need some for the front too.

if the Barons rally anything like they drag, they should be really, really easy to beat. I might even take the 400 pounds of coolers and tools out of the wagon for fun. or mabey I will just leave 'em in it to keep it fair.

I'm just glad it starts at 9:00. Most of their stuff starts at like 6:30 am, and the wonder why we don't drive in from Austin!

  28. Well if they didn't make me idol down the track you would have seen how it's done. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The Day Of the Drags is right before the rally so we will see who has the bragging rights at our event. We need a good reliability run out here and the Hill Country is the perfict place for it. I look forward to asking y'all why you were all so slow at the drags!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAHA.
