I've decided to sell my PLym, and I have a friend with an ocean front home. Awesome place to take car pictures. He wanted some work done on his TVR, so I said I'll park my car there and take yours to the shop. I'll take some pics when I get back... So he sent me these. PLease not the skeleton is not mine. and yes i know red wheels are lame. I painted them so for the purpose of selling the car. Anyway, I got a laugh out of it :)

Red wheels are lame, SBC's are lame, anything other than the manufacturer's engine (i.e. Ford in a Ford, etc) is lame, etc, etc, etc.

Apparently, on a "Traditional Hot Rod" board, lots of things that ARE traditional when I was a kid, are "lame". WTF? Guess I'm getting old............................:(

Glad you like the wheels, I think they make the WWWs pop. I tried a mess of other colours, black was okay, but I liked red, but it's been told me repeatedly they are over done.

That said, I wish he had found a pinup who wasn't so anorexic looking. I think it will help sell the Pearl regardless.

Out side of the side pipes it looked just about like a few of the cars that the "older" guys had when I was in Jr hi in the early 60's. Low buck but clean with painted wheels and white walls.

It's like anything else when you go to a car show with 1500 cars and 150 of them have red wheels and wide whites they start getting boring. When you see one little Mopar sedan that has early 60's high school cruiser written all over it it's pretty cool.
