  1. Awesome find, congrats.

Nuevo, Ca. I had to look that one up. Must be "new" ;)

  2. I don't usually say much, but WOW! Cool find. Keep us updated. It would be fun if someone knows the truck on here.

Nice find! The head is a Cragar, the block is a Model B, identifiable by the fuel pump. Cragar's, Riley's etc. were/are very reliable and double the original horsepower, or more, depending on what else is done to the engine. The Cragar is the same as the Miller only built and sold slightly later. You might want to check out F.A.S.T. at www.hotforhotfours.com

What a cool truck. It has the indented firewall, so it is May 31 or later. Is it a factory steel roof of did someone fill it? (hard to tell from the photos) If it is the factory steel roof, then it would be August 31 or later.

If he knew even the little bit I did at the time of purchase, I wouldn't have gotten this truck for a "song and a dance";).

  15. Very nice ... ;)

It would be cool to try and keep the driver door original,
maybe coat it with a clear overlay ?

The longer it was a "state owned vehicle" the better. I am always on the look out for state sales for trucks. They maintenance them like clockwork and never skimp out parts as it's on the states dime! Plus no one wants to risk losing their cushy state job due to getting caught dogging the "States" truck. Cool looking truck! Good score!

Now you gotta change your name to SMOKINBANGER.

Bangers are the big thing right now.
