I got a call about a 37 Ford racecar and had to go check it out. On my way to see it I'm thinking I really don't need an old racecar but after we fired it up I knew I had to have it. It has a small Halibrand rear and a flathead with Fenton heads along with the right stuff from the era for racing. Now I'll be able to run at my favorite tracks with the Old Timers and can't wait.

Now two days after buying this car I get another call...We have a 34 Ford sedan we want to sell if you know anyone interested. Well it's set up the same as the 37 but with a Merc flathead with Edelbrock heads and an Edmunds 2-2 intake with 97's. The deal will be made on that one tomorrow.

Here are some pics of the 37

Dare I ask... is this a true vintage race car or a more recent build? If the former, does it have an interesting history. Either way, Iz be jealous... neat stuff. Gary

The car was supposed to have some vintage history. The guy has some photos that are being searched out now. The last owner bought it to run with the vintage group 15 or 20 years ago.

I bought the car from Paxton and he is going for more parts and getting the complete history for me. My buddy Tim bought the 34 today while I was going to CT to pick up a 30 Ford Vicky body so it's secure and in our circle. Larry is correct the last owner and his son ran these cars with the vintage group 15 years ago and put them away in the barn. I can't wait to get the brakes working so I can tear up the field that flathead sounds good.
