Snow cars

  1. Here's mine last week. Got a little behind with clearing some floor space in the garage for it. Thankfully, it's now in the garage where it belongs, getting worked on until it hits the road in 3 months.

  10. awesome to see I have a few questions?

who leaves a roadster out side without throwing at least a cover over it if its gonna snow?

are those motorcycle tires on the Argentinean roadster?

Had to put it out in the driveway while I was working on one of my many OT rides. This is what it looked like when we pushed it back in.
Years ago, I was in the same situation and the truck needed to be out overnight and the weather was going to be crappy. I covered the truck with a big tarp and tried to ballast the tarp against the wind. Early in the morning, I woke up to the howling wind and looked out the window to find the tarp long gone (it was actually up the road a ways) and the truck, including the interior completely full of snow. flush with the bedsides and the door glass beltline (no windows yet). After a couple minutes of head scratching I came up with a plan. When I got dressed in the morning, I trudged out to the shed and grabbed a 2 stroke leaf blower and proceeded to blow all the snow out of the truck. It worked like a charm! no snow left...nothing to melt... so nothing got wet when I pushed it back inside. At least this time the truck was closed to the weather and I even had working wipers![IMG]

Beautiful day yesterday after a major snowfall. Pulled the cars out to let them run a little while I did a little cleanup work in the barn. Getting closer to spring and some opportunities to give them a little exercise out on the road.

This picture was in a box of my Grandpa's WW2 stuff, though I'm not sure where he got it. Can anyone tell what type of car this is?

Had 14" of snow on Thursday, Model A pickup sits out since I don't have enough garage space, snow up to the running boards. Took innertubes out to the dam for the grandkids on Saturday, not many Model A's still in daily use here.
