I'm looking into fabricating a IMG_2822.JPG top pulley riser, to raise the fan, I have seen this back in the day before the water pump risers were available, any photos or other ideas ?

    Thank you, Scott

    Ick!
Not a great example, hoping somthing a little more finished looking like a sealed bearing in some sort of fabbed casing.

Look at the fan and idler setup on a Mazda pickup - the truck that came before the rebadged Rangers.

  5. What's wrong with using whats readily available and has a proven track record.

I have used several zips risers and they work flawlessly while centering the fan in the radiator and allowing you to use a big fan to alleviate and overheating issues. HRP

  6. Scott, the photo you posted is of the Gray Baskerville roadster, as you probably knew.
Here's the other side that shows the fan mount much better.

My shroud has kept my motor happy. I am still a believer in brass.
