    very kool car man. I raced one nothing fast 11.80s car sbc power and a lot like that but oiginal front end. the single most help i ever got on the launch was to add helper springs over the shocks nd set the right one an inch tighter than the left and with the super long wheelbase and slow reaction of the entire car to gather it self up and leave it helped by 2 tenths on the 60ft was a 1.80 and went to 1.60 ... just an observation, i love it. im now putting together parts for one i have with a hemi and dual fours with an overdrive for the street, but a lsr look with the holes in the bumper , as i really like that look... thanks for the thread.....

    well i did it. i put 315x60 mt drag radials on it and cut the fenders to make'em fit. some may like it , some may not. i happen to like it. i still need to finish lettering it, do a little flaring on the fenders, do some brake and steering work, but it'll get there.

    Dumb question,How hard was it to drill those "lightening" holes in the front bumper?
    The whole car looks great! Time warp back to the early sixties!

    still plugging along.yall guess what the scoop is off of.the shifter cover is a chopped and sectioned studebaker heater.

    I know what it is it was hanging in the shop for awhile . I think it came off a Toyota or some kind of import
