Slightly Off Topic - Ford Mechanical Pencil

    I have this "property of ford motor company" mechanical pencil.
    Any one know anything about these? It has a serial # even! Its all aluminum also.

    Nice, probably something that was intended to be used by certain people who worked for Ford at one time.

    A guess, but most likely a drafting pencil.

  6. Looks like it may have been made by the Eagle Pencil Co.I have several that are very similar to that without the logo. Looks like it may take 1.2mm lead which I believe is still available.Probably dates to the late 1930's or early 40's. Pretty fancy too.

    It is a Redipoint Ingersoll brand

    Other Ford mechanical pecil parts probably won't interchange. ;)
     
  13. Haven't heard of that one before.If you need lead for it,I believe Staples has that size in stock and if not they can order it.
