RICHIE= I had the same dream well all most. It was of ants eating an old Chevy as Bob B is dancing on the roof in a thong.

 

A lot of guys say the 54's are every where and they are tired of seeing them, 54 is one of my favorites and would kill to find one around my area in that great shape! Can't wait to see your progress. Oh, and some of you guy have some weird friggin dreams!!

I got my top secret wheel covers mounted and I couldnt be happier!!

although zildjians are made right up the street from me they were slightly out of my budget!!

These were the cheapest, shiniest, ribbed(for her pleasure), 16" cymbals out there!

Progress!! And its not an illusion!!

The weather was perfect around here last week to get some painting done. So I masked it up and shot down some primer.... the pictures are dark cuz I let the sun get around back of the shop to cool the roof off just a bit.

I let the primer harden up quite a bit and had a perfect Saturday afternoon to lay down some color. Im going to experiment a little and try to fade a flake job. If it fails misserably I will go back and panel the roof but for now heres the color!!

 

Its probably going to be a while before I can get some flake and clear on it, so I unmasked it and hosed it off. I took a few pictures and couldnt stop looking at it...and this is just the base color! Hopefully I can shoot the flake and clear and have it look good, cuz Im a hack painter

 

I gave it a quick bath and took this picture with my cell phone the next morning. If this heat and humidity ever quit I will have some more progress for you guys! Next, hopefully, the interior and an exhaust!

 

I guess I shouldnt bitch, the weather could be worse!

 

Damn buddy!!! That is a hell of a roof. I love the color!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work, and if ya ever get board of those fenton's, i will take em off your hands....lol. I need a set for my 54.

Oh and by the way, your last picture made me cringe. I was trying to ignore the fact that we get that shit here every winter....
