Glad I only live 90 miles away and I'll be able to see the car in person one day. As a long time Model A owner/builder I find your work intriguing to say the least. It's going to be a good one.

As someone who's father had a chopped and channeled model A back in the day, I dig it. Love the color combo too.

Have you any more photos how you mounted your fuel tank? I have exactly the same tank and lack of room. Just would like some ideas how you did it
    Thanks DD

Thanks for all the compliments guys, for only my 2nd scratch built car I'm very happy with the way things are coming together. Still a long way to go until it's done. Starting the body work next week, it will take a while since I am back to work after holidays and the hot rod will have to come at night again after the wife and little guy go to bed.

I don't have the tank solid mounted yet, I had it mocked in and know exactly how I will build all the framing and mounts for it, I'll post pics of how I do it at that time.

Your work looks great! The colors you chose are going to look just right on your coupe.

I wish that was the case, I haven't had a lot of time to work on the coupe these last few weeks. I have started on the body work but it's a little to boring to bother making posts over. Hopefully within the next couple of months the body will back on and in color, it shouldn't take to long to finish the car once the body work is done. I'm not rushing through it.

Diggin' the style. Hold the line and don't let the flack bother you. Some folks here never were told by their parents to keep their mouths shut if they did not have something nice to say.

My '29A CC/PU is on all-hidden air too. I am working up the front frame rails now. It should be a roller shortly. How much sweep is in the front of yours exactly?

"Drivinford" has a similar build in progress. BOth these guys have mad skills and imagination. Not everyone wants an "A", sitting highboy style, on Deuce rails. Diversity is what Hot Rodding and Kustomizing is all about. My Dad and Uncle built cars low in the '50's & '60's and they were quick and would handle. These cars look more Traditional to me than a coupe high enough to crawl under. Quality and safe work is what's important. keep at it.

I love how the nay sayers don't even really get replied to.
    You just keep rolling along.
I am amazed at how much you really do get done considering the time
    you have to do it.

Congratulations on having a great build and a happy wife!

Yes and no, lol. Was in primer, but after the last few patch panels will need another spray

    Thanks

    Cheers man

    Thanks

Not sure on the sweep exactly up front, I built the chassis around the wheel size. If I was to guess I would say 5" or more at the front. I can measure it if you want,

Decided to spend the cash and put in a 10' radiant tube heater in the garage before i left for SEMA. Been working in the Canadian winters for 6 years without it. Hopefully it's worth the money! Heater is hung and am running gas line this weekend and then I'm pounding on the coupe.

  22. Nice build...I've ridden in many hotrods with traditional suspension and got a ride in a bagged 63 Impala but never ridden in a light, low car like your coupe. I'd love to experience riding in one before I built one. Are you planning to install stabilizer [sway] bars? How much air pressure is in the bags at driving height?

Same here in SoCal, my garage got down to 68 degrees last night and I had to close the big door and put on pants. I guess enduring the elements is something us Gearheads must face while working on our hobbies;)

I wish 68F was "cold", it won't be long until we get down to -22F (-30C) thankfully we get chinooks where I live and on occasion it's mild in the winter months, when I say mild I mean -10C, lol
