Looks like a Chevy V-8 heads conversion
Not Gonna lie. Your Hambster was a inspiration in the creation of mine. Followed your thread closely from the very first one and treated it as a how to.
Wow! It is so cool to see so many outstanding 6 powered cars!! It's nice to know there are others who share the same genetic defect Many of you have already seen pics of our '50 Chevy pickup with an injected 292. Best time to date is 10.94 at 119 mph.
I LOVE that truck^^^ So cool. He forgot to mention he’s shiftin’ it!!
My friend Gary Breebeck and his GM 6 cylinder nostalgia altered , running our nostalgia altered at maple grove
Hey, Bench Seat 4speed - I am with you all the way!! The race truck up above is a bench seat 4 speed, our '56 is a bench seat 4 speed (becoming a 5 speed), and our blue '50 driver pickup is a 5 speed bench seat. I remember the first new car I ever owned was a '68 Chevelle SS 396 350 hp with..... a bench seat 4 speed. I have loved them ever since!
Post pics of your 56 also that car would fit right in this thread!!
Did you put a hole shot on him or is he giving you the spot?
How about a 10 second 4 cyl Lemans built by Nunzi from Brooklyn. Back in the good old days his Pontiacs were some of the fastest..

Here's our '56. It's not really a "race" car but we do race it some. It's more of a street/strip car, I guess. We've owned it for 46 years so it is part of the family.
Haha, look closely our visors are up, Backing up from the burnout. Gary runs low 10.20s we run 9.40s. In handicap racing last season we are both 1-1
OK, that also explains why the signage is not a blur as the camera would be panned. Good pic.
Very cool! Are all the hambster drags the same set up ? I saw those two both ran Ford 170. I’m surprised it’s wasn’t a 200. I’m guessing a built c4 behind them? Looks like cheap fun. I dig it
I was there hat day crewing for the green 40 Chev coupe. That's Dick Peterson's car. 292, Lump port Head, 3 Webers, 12.5 cr, 350 TH, 4:10 with a spool. Dick passed away in 2014. The 55 ran a 302 Jimmy and was owned by Frank Berlotuci (sp) of Hot Heads by Frank fame.
Owner / Driver??? With #11 maybe a Div. I car?
It looks like a Ford hybrid crossflow head six. Dig the extended magneto above the valve cover (to clear the relocated intakes).
I think that was in a batch from a track in Canada.
You may be right loudbang, that pickup in the background is badged as a Mercury, a Canadian variant of a Ford F100. Somebody probably recognized all the orange license plates.
Nice action photo of your truck Ron!
