  15. Another one courtesy of google. Wonder how many trim clips are on the car.

  16. Ya know, that there wagon has potential ( good bones that is) . First order of business would be to get it mechanically sound and then worry about sheet metal work.

  17. Sheet metal work may be first looking at that rear tire. Springs might be poking through the floor, if there is a floor left.

So many 1958's from FoMoCo I have seen are rust magnets. I do not know if there was not enough zinc, or what have you in the sheet metal that Ford stamped their bodies from in 1957-1959, but they sure seem to be rust prone.

This is cool, add 41 to 46 Chevy PU headlights. Make an enclosed trailer or some sort of camper out of the tanker.

  27. I think it was because Ford put a lot of inner panels in their bodies that accumulated dirt, and water, and mud. Not just 57-58 but earlier too. My 56 Ford had more panels behind the outer sheetmetal than my 56 Chevy had. Too many cracks and crevices for debris to hold moisture. Thats my opinion.

  28. I found another more artistic quality photo of the same car. It shows the extent of the rust.
