  5. No. It's been there in that spot for a long time. It was a young kid who got his grandparents property.

  10. I saw a write up on the '60 somewhere, it might have been here or on AACA. It's a hearse that was custom built in either Europe or South America.

First off I will say this is a well put together website for car enthusiasts. Second I will say I know absolutely nothing about any of these vehicles in these pictures. I am not a car enthusiast by any means, however I am a photographer and a lot of my pictures are of old cars. I was hoping for some help in determining the year of the car in this photo. I know it's a Fleetline. But I have had a few ppl on Facebook where I am selling copies of the photo tell me different year models. I thought it was a '42. Then told '46. Then told '48. It would be nice to be able to put the accurate year in the listing. The sides were all painted with graffiti or else I'd have more photos to help identify it. By the way, I found your website by doing a google search of 'what year is my fleetline'. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. I love cars, but my car knowledge is not on par with my photography knowledge. Thanks for any help and good day. sample.jpg

Ummm The window shape you posted doesn't match. The bottom corners are right angles. What I posted has a rounded corner. Also what you posted has no spotlight on the driver's side and has vertical guards on the bumper.

  18. Not to start a pissing contest but if you look closely at the bumber you can see where bumber guards were attached. It looks like someone needed them and removed them. In J hansens posting the windshield glass bottom corners are rounded. As far as the spotlight question is concerned, I believe those are after market, Appleton perhaps.
Someone will school me if I am wrong.

The last batch posted by J Hansen look like French cars, maybe hidden from invading Germans during WWII?
